About Me

Thank you for choosing my Internal Medicine practice. I am committed to providing you with a superior level of care in a friendly and personalized environment.

Patients sometimes are not sure of what an "Internist" is or does. They are referred to as "medical detectives", or "the doctor's doctor". Internal medicine is often defined by its subspecialties such as cardiology, pulmonary medicine, gastroenterology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, and many others. These subspecialists are first internists, and then take additional training to focus just in those subspecialty areas. Internists on the other hand maintain a broad overview of adult healthcare, and add subspecialists to their teams if needed.

I am very proud of the relationships that I have established with my patients. My staff and I are focused on maintaining your trust and confidence. I am especially honored that my patients have referred so many of their friends and relatives to my practice. I look forward to making lasting relationships with every patient I meet.

Dedicated to Excellence

I hold myself to a high level of excellence in every aspect of my practice. This includes the care I provide, the health and safety protocols I follow, and the incidental services I offer. Above all, my aim is to provide each of my patients with an optimal experience.

Experienced Physician

I attended medical school at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed my Internal Medicine residency at their nearby major teaching affiliate, Abington Memorial Hospital. I am a member of the American College of Physicians, the Internists professional medical society, and have attended their scientific conferences.  I practiced medicine in Philadelphia for 8 years, and in the Vail Valley for 27 years.

Appointments

I have held teaching appointments at Pennsylvania Hospital and University of Pennsylvania. I have served as Chairman of Medicine and Medical Staff President at Vail Valley Medical Center.

The Importance of Patient Education

A key part of preventing health care problems from progressing is being aware as to how they can develop. I strongly believe that patient education is an important part of the services I provide, and it is an important part of what I do.  I encourage my patients to read about their condition and ask me questions about how to stay healthy.

I look forward to becoming your Internal Medicine physician and a partner in your health care.
